Known as the most prestigious car auction in the United States, the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale has now turned into a nine-day event, with nearly 300,000 visitors gathering to view and bid on the world’s most pristine automobiles. In addition to the auction, the entertainment venue features fashion shows, live broadcasts and top-notch entertainment. Come and mingle with the rich and famous at this year’s January extravaganza.

The Park of the Canals shows off some of the earliest canals in Arizona. The canals were dug by hand by Hohokam Indians, Mesa preserves such works for the public to see and appreciate. Also at the park are botanical gardens, which are open from spring to fall.
